GENERAL QUESTIONS
Our Full Access Tahoe team prioritizes customer service and is committed to ensuring you have the best experience possible while exploring what we like to call our backyard. From booking to orientation, and everything in between, we are happy to answer any questions and provide help if needed.
Full Access Tahoe offers self-guided and guided tours. Each vehicle is equipped with a 7″ in-dash navigation screen showing all of the associated trails. All of our Genoa Peak offerings are self-guided. The Carson Valley/ Mt. Siegel location has both options.
Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Any driver must be accompanied by somebody 25 or older. Passengers in our ATV’s have to be at least 5 years old.
No experience is required to drive our vehicles. In fact, about 50% of our guests have never drive an off-road vehicle! Upon your arrival, we give you a thorough orientation on the vehicle as well as the area you’ll be exploring. We only send you off once you feel comfortable and confident in operating the vehicle.
It is not, we want you to be able to enjoy your fully allotted time. After your orientation, which takes about 15-30 minutes, your time starts so you can set off on your adventure.
Included in your rental is the vehicle, helmets, one tank of fuel, and a SPOT GPS location device. We recommend bringing sunglasses or goggles, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Our tours are indeed safe. The main issue that affects safety is the person in the driver seat. Maneuvers such as drifting and performing donuts are the biggest factor that we see result in any issues. Thankfully, we have never had any guest seriously injured in our 12 years of operating.
YES! We have two options for you in the winter. Our Genoa Peak trail in the Lake Tahoe basin offers the Polaris Xpeditions with tracks on them to venture on the snow. The second option is the Carson Valley location down in Gardnerville, NV that operates year-round on dirt.
You can wear whatever is most comfortable, but we highly recommend closed toe shoes (this is a requirement for drivers). We have sweatshirts on site for sale but keep an eye on what the weather is like for the day you will be renting and plan accordingly.
DAMAGE POLICIES
Upon your arrival, a hold will be placed on a credit or debit card for the full damage deposit amount per vehicle, $3,000 ($1,500 if upgraded insurance selected). If the damage deposit cannot be charged on the card, the rental will be forfeited. Once you have returned the vehicle free of damage, and our team has washed and fully inspected the vehicle, the deposit will be returned the same day. If there is any damage suspected, Full Access Tahoe will keep the hold in place until a thorough inspection has been completed to determine the extent of the damages.
If the vehicle has flipped onto its side or rolled over, your rental is over. Once we arrive on scene, you will follow us back to the staging area. At this point, the damage deposit will be forfeited. The majority of these issues occur while performing donuts or drifting the vehicle.
Once you have pressed the help button on the supplied GPS tracker, assistance will be dispatched onto the trail to replace the flat tire. If the tire has been punctured on the sidewall, the renter will be responsible for the cost. If the tire has been punctured on the tread, we will cover the cost (granted other damage hasn’t occurred to cause this).
Fees will be assessed at the discretion of Full Access Tahoe management

Exceeding 15 MPH in the staging area parking lot will constitute an immediate forfeiture of the full damage deposit
Driving on unauthorized trails will result in an immediate forfeiture of the full damage deposit
These fees are in addition to the damage deposit amount. Charges are capped at $750 when a vehicle needs to be recovered or cannot be used due to damage. With the premium insurance upgrade this charge is capped at $250.
Insurance Policies
The vehicle damage costs are capped at the respective damage deposit amount. This means $3,000 if basic insurance is selected and $1,500 if the premium upgrade is selected. Polaris insurance covers any amount that exceeds the above totals (unless the rental agreement has been nullified).
This is included in every rental free of charge. Liability coverage is provided to the driver for injuries caused to another person or damages to property; this coverage is not provided for property damage or injuries to another person on the same adventure, or to the vehicle being driven.
This is included in every rental free of charge. Participant accident insurance for every rider in the vehicle of up to $25,000 excess accidental medical, accidental death and dismemberment, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation benefits and more.
