Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where do we meet?
A. We will be meeting at the Castle Rock Trailhead. When you have finished booking your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with directions as well as a link to Google maps.
Q. Is this tour guided?
A. This is a self-guided tour. There is in-dash navigation you will be following and using to access locations of interest. We also space out all of our groups so you will only be with those in your rental party.
Q. How old do you have to be to drive? What is the minimum age for a passenger?
A. You have to be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license in order to drive. Every driver must also be accompanied by a passenger over the age of 25 at all times. Passengers in our UTV’s have to be at least 7 years old. Sorry, no exceptions.
Q. Is the orientation included in the rental time?
A. It is not, we want you to be able to enjoy your fully allotted time. After your orientation, which takes about 15-30 minutes, your time starts so you can set off on your adventure.
Q. What's included?
A. Included in your rental is the machine, helmets, one tank of fuel, and a SPOT GPS location device. We provide ice chests but are not currently able to provide ice so we recommend bringing that with you. We also recommend bringing sunglasses or goggles, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Q. What should I bring?
A. You should bring appropriate clothing and footwear. Highly recommend closed-toe shoes. Be prepared for any inclement weather by bringing a jacket or other warm clothes. It is always a good idea to bring some snacks or lunch as well as plenty of water. Sunscreen and sunglasses/ goggles are also recommended.
